Design Thinking
Ideas you can hold
Art, architecture, products & 3D printing
Design Thinking promotes creative confidence across visual art, architecture, product design, and digital fabrication including 3D printing. Learners move from open-ended prompts to sketches, simple models, and iterated prototypes—building vocabulary for form, function, materials, and user needs.
Sessions emphasize empathy, experimentation, and presentation: observing spaces, reimagining everyday objects, storyboarding ideas, and testing solutions with peers. Where equipment is available, physical prototypes extend screen-based design so students connect abstract concepts to tangible outcomes.
Design Thinking activities are also aligned with holistic frameworks such as India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, emphasizing experiential learning, multidisciplinary engagement, creativity, and practical problem-solving.
